Join me to gather lots of ready-to-use ideas. I will be sharing simple investigations that prompt K-5 students to explore and discover important math concepts. We will explore engaging number routines to revisit or reteach math skills. I will share some of my favorite pieces of children’s literature to launch math lessons, exploring math in context. We will identify vocabulary tasks that strengthen students’ understanding of the language of math. And I will share many of my go-to K-5 math resources to enliven math class and get kids excited about learning mathematics.
