Recent Projects
I have enjoyed working with so many schools and districts recently. Among my recent projects are: introducing K-2 teachers to the Common Core State Standards in Mathematics in Luling, LA; sharing strategies for transforming math teaching with administrators at the Tennessee Educational Leadership Conference in Nashville; presenting a workshop for Omaha, Nebraska math teachers focused on strategies to support struggling students; conducting a series of workshops on math problem solving for the Tennessee Staff Development Council; presenting several sessions for Illinois educators at the Raising Student Achievement Conference; sharing ideas for improving students math problem-solving skills with teachers at the Tempe School District GAP conference in Tempe, AZ; and collaborating with Cleveland City Schools (TN) to provide ongoing support for their math coaches as well as a series of math workshops for elementary schools within the district.
